Now make your own homemade Kombucha using the Scoby Mushroom Spore which is required for its production.

Recipe

Ingredients :

600ml hot water

2 bags of black or green tea

1/4 cup sugar

600ml cold water

SCOBY

Preperation:

1- Boil 600 ml of water and infuse the 2 tea bags for 15 minutes

2- Remove the tea bags

3- Leave to cool and transfer to a mason jar that can hold at least 1.5 liters and add the sugar

4- Add 600 ml of cold water and mix well

5- Let the mixture temper until it reaches room temperature

6- Add the SCOBY (scoby bag)

7- Close the top of the mason jar with an elastic band and a cloth towel

8- Leave in a dark place at room temperature for 5 to 10 days

9- Once the 5 to 10 days have passed, repeat step 1 to 5 in a new mason jar and transfer your scoby to its new environment

10- Transfer the liquid in bottles that close hermetically and add fruits of your choice

11- Leave the bottles tightly closed at room temperature for another 3 days and refrigerate for consumption.

(important note)

Note that the first batch will only be used to grow the scoby. You can consume your kombucha in the second batch.

Do not consume the scoby.
