Also known as “rocket”, arugula is a fast-growing, fresh seasonal salad green that adds a tangy, mustard flavor to salads. Here’s how to plant and grow arugula in your garden!

Arugula is often found in mesclun mixes. Plant early or late in the growing season and you can harvest as early as 4 weeks after sowing. Plants are hardy and tolerate some frost.

WHEN TO PLANT ARUGULA

HOW TO PLANT ARUGULA
Plant ¼ inch deep and about 1 inch apart in rows 10 inches apart. You can also broadcast arugula seeds on their own or mix them with other green vegetables.
