Echeveria species have been found to emerge naturally in warm environments with lots of light, they have adapted to a warm, bright environment.
Even though Echeveria likes bright light, it can be difficult for them to get them into direct sunlight during the summer months, as well as cause sunburn.
Acclimatize them gradually by placing them in an environment that receives only a few hours of morning sun per day, and increase them for about a week before they are in full light.
Absolutely avoid the afternoon heat, as the leaves will burn and stress the plant.
