Zinnia Peruviana

Zinnia Peruviana is a fast-growing, fast-flowering tropical species. It is often grown in gardens, where its self-seeding nature allows it to spread by wind. It grows along roadsides, in disturbed places, wastelands and pastures.

Plant it in full sun as shady spots will cause less runoff. Water regularly, however, do not overwater. These plants have a short taproot.

The stems are mostly unbranched, rough and have fine and coarse hairs.

It is an excellent choice for xeriscape, pollinator and conservation gardens.
